Unlimited Run Jimmiroquai's TFA/TLJ Stormtrooper Armor Set: Casting on demand

Re: Jimmiroquai's TFA Stormtrooper Armor Set

I sculpted the kit using my frame as a reference. I'm 5'8.5", 185lbs, 38" waistline. But again, the fiberglass resin used is very, and i mean, very flexible. It won't crack. And it will fit a wide range of girths. Height wise, it will fit a range of 5'6" to maybe 6' without mods. :)

Re: Jimmiroquai's TFA Stormtrooper Armor Set

if I was put on the list for the end of October for delivery in November when would you need the $300? end of October?

Yes, i'll update the first post once i'm ready to take down names for the next run. In the meantime, you can be put on the waiting list if you want a chance to be part of this current run.

Waiting list please.
The thighs come finished? I have rather muscular thighs so that might be a problem...

The CRL was just finished and posted on 501st. I haven't submitte yet as i am having trouble finding the correct soft pouches and i am still waiting for my boots and gloves. With regards to the armor itself, i followed the drafting of the crl very closely and built this to be approvable.

Re: Jimmiroquai's TFA Stormtrooper Armor Set

Good news! My fiberglass guy will be bringing in more labor to help with casting more sets and reaching the mid-October release. So i've opened up 5 more slots. I've moved up the first five on the waiting list to the current run and will be contacting you individually in a bit. More slots can be opened up if we finish early.

In the spirit of transparency just wanted to share that after 2 troopings with my flexible fiberglass TFA armor, my chest plate has some hairline cracks, but only in the paint and not in the fiberglass itself. Only noticeable up close though. Not sure if it's due to the flexing when worn and taken off (which is not much) or due to stretching and compressing in storage or if the clearcoat/bondo was too thick. On the other hand, the paint on my flexible ab armor, which flexes A LOT, has no signs of cracking. So it maybe multifactorial.

I've also added a FAQ in the first post.
@somethingsogood & CoachA - I've added you to the waiting list. Thanks!
@ISBEAR - widest part of thigh has an inner circumference of 27" and the biceps have an inner circumference of 17". If you are familiar with fiberglass or know someone who is, you can modify these parts to fit if these are too small for you.

No right tight holster?

None at the moment. I chose to leave it out because there were several blaster builders building their own mounts as well. So you have the option of attaching those to the right leg. I am having a blaster and mount commissioned as well.
