That's what use mate 6mm camping mats I can get 3 rolls for £10 on ebay to get where I am with the Iron patriot ive used about 8 rolls give or take minus about two for mistakes on sizing some people use the mega thick interlocking floor mats but I personaly find these to thick and bulky to use

yeah that's a bit odd, just been clicking around their site (suppose I should have done that first:facepalm ) doesn't seem any way of buying from them online, you may have click their contact us button and drop them an email, maybe they can point you in the right direction

hi Snarkticon, here is a link where i bought my roll online. This is plastazote LD45 foam , the one that xrobots.uk used for hes foam build and the one that Shelfside is curently using for hes iron man build. I order mine colored and with 6mm thickness. Hope that i helped.

Charlie, thanks for your help and input. I do appreciate it. That's the same place Billy linked to ... sadly ordering those rolls from the UK is a bit expensive for me (a little under $40 PER roll after shipping costs when ordering multiple rolls). I'm going to keep looking for a US-based supplier to keep my costs down.

Hi all need a little help been trying to download space marine foam templates but can't something to do with ear files is there anyway I can get them?

they are zipped files haggishunter so you will have to download a unzipping program to open it up I use a program called rar file open knife that's a good free one to use :) hope this helps :)

erm not speed files like JFcustom has here mostly pep files for use with card not foam. Its pretty simple to open these files once you have the free program installed

looking real nice billy, if a little camp

Been playing with the samples I got from Thames Vally, the Plastazote definitely handles and glues differently (better) than the foam pads or flooring, just gotta wait for the money to do an order so the shipping isn't a killer, I noticed they also do an assortment of pipes and tubes, I'm thinking for finger ribbing :D

Interesting about the plastazote I might order some to give it a go if it cuts and glues better what density did you go for ?

it seems everyone is using the LD45, it appears to be a standard stock item, plenty of different colors as well, why have black when you can have red and yellow! ::D
you can buy £10 of samples, theres a link on the TVS home page, just need to tell them what you want, was thinking of getting some 6mm and 3mm to see what they come up like

Not UK only btw but shipping is very expensive tho. I actually order from them aswell (great support aswell) and im located in Belgium but must say that i find its worth the extra you pay in shipping (no idea the cost for US tho). I have the floor mats aswell and found that to be good too but my blades from my xacto are dull alot faster then on plastazote.

Yeah, the shipping to the US is pretty high. I'm hoping to find a US source for the plastazote, or the same thing under a different brand name at least.
