Jedi Comlink found parts

Okay - the holes match in size, but it's not a direct match. Also this is a nut plate that has to be altered like the coughtre bolts

Cool, I’ve not picked up any matrix pins yet to check the size of the ones I found on eBay, I’m pretty sure the ones I have are the same yours though.

- I’m still looking for triangular headed bolts
- the ‘welding tip’ for the front array
- the round disc for the back
- the 4 elbows for the front array

I should ask v312 with his electronics knowledge if he recognizes some components on the plug board. It looks like they cut right through a chip

I'm not sure of the exact size of this prop and when the movie was released. But it looks small, so try opening some older USB flash drive.
They kind of all look like that

I'm wondering if anyone knows if that board is original. Filming was done in 1997 or 1998 if I remember and it looks like USB drives were invented a year or two after?

Yeah, if it was 1997 or 1998 it was little bit too early for these devices ... thought might be the case but was too lazy to google the release date :)

The piece looks quite generic anyway, maybe check some pcb from actual spinning HDD from that era, or other computer boards / parts, calculators, you name it - anything sophisticated enough to need a chip with so many legs will have a section of the pcb that looks similar.

Was that part the ‘blood sampler’ You don’t very often see prop versions that include that part. Now I’m going to have to add that lol

I think the usb will look close enough for me

I found a better pic of the slot for it.

Still not found a similar triangle bolt yer though

just wanted to give you an update, my dolly razor came in, the one I ordered from China didn’t ship, so I got a refund and ordered the same one from eBay at a slightly higher cost, but still cheaper than a real gellette.

There are a few minor differences, in the area were the blade clips in. But they will be easy to correct with a dremel and filler, on a positive note the grip section is solid plastic and not rubber which will make painting it easier.

Parts of star wars suggested the axel for the array was a welding tip, I had a look at these, but couldn’t find anything close. They all have a hole in the end and either a tapered or squared off end, unless I’m looking at the wrong thing, after searching I actually think it might be a clevis pin.

Here’s an examples, the grove is for a spring clip, I’ll have to measure the hole size in the plate and find one to fit.

They’re also come in a double ended variety:

I'm looking for some as well. I need everything but the Matrix pins and the shaver itself. LOL

If anyone has any other spare parts, please LMK. I'm wnating to the TPM Obi-wan version.

No updates on parts yet.

When it comes to the scratch made cartridge... are these the same prop? they don't seem like it

The one on the left looks fan made. The one on the right looks like the detail is recessed, which it would have to be to catch the blood sample. It looks to me like the half round section is flush with the outer portion and the area around that half round is also recessed.
