James Bond Skyfall Props

the Prop-Maker who made the modifications on the PPK (S) Skyfall is Chris Corbould
he also did all the others "FX" on the Aston Martin, Bond's mansion ...

By cons I know he did not really have problems to adapt the handle "plastic" on the PPK.

hence come the little info like what Daniel Craig was struggling to hold his gun??!

C.

It wasn't Corbould who made it despite what you heard. It was the guys Corbould hired.

Here is a picture of the model of MI6 for the scene of the explosion note its impressive size next to the person at the bottom left.

and a photo shoot for the opening scene

Steve Begg miniature effects supervisor on Skyfall, as well as Batman Begins here on the picture.

I have nothing against you, but it is better to pass information "real" than read some "press."

Other information that I can give you is that "led" green and red handle really did not work, they added in post-Production.

This was never in the press. But I bow down to you, the god of all knowledge, since you obviously know better :rolleyes

thank you but I'm not a god! and I do not pretend to know more than any other, we should stop this useless talk, which makes no progress thread.

That miniature work astounds me. I remember specifically wondering how they did the MI6 explosion, and miniature never even crossed my mind. Very impressive.

yes very impressive work, Bond's mansion was also reproduced in miniature and the helicopter and the Aston Martin in 1/3e.

Where did you get a resin copy?

from a chap on eBay.. he sells them.painted but not as accurate as I wanted so messaged him and got an unpainted one

Does any one have a good picture or have made Q ID yet?

I know someone who is working on them from another forum who has the original artwork used for the badges and has sourced them but hasn't been able to get Q's actual ID photo in acceptable shape. This may help though, shall pass it along.

Got my Q mug today a tenner well spent I think, screen accurate from what I can tell. Yet another addition to my shelf of found item props.
