James Bond Skyfall Props

Is that early model walther he first uses in 7.65 mm or is the prop. 380? I cant tell in the close up

I believe its a 7.65, but I can't confirm. There was a shot in the PTS that may clearly show which caliber it was. Anyone have it in HD that can take a screen shot?

I suppose it was part of the gag, but that actually looks bigger than the tracking device in Goldfinger!

It looks slightly bigger than the transponder that could be hidden in Bond's shoe but is much smaller than the main transponder that was attatched to the trunk roof of Goldfinger's car that gets crushed with the mobster in it. That one was a brick.

Though the poker set was far less prominent than the one in Casino Royale, the chips and cards are still very nice. I think I will get them!

I am also very interested in the tracking device if Factory Entertainment do a replica.

Is it just me or did he not fire the s&w ppk? It seemed like a lightweight resin or rubber part the whole time he had it

So, I was thinking of doing a run of Bond Cufflinks:

Can anyone identify that font. I KNOW it's a standard and I've seen it a million times... but I just can't place it! It's driving me nuts. Someone help!!

Thanks,
Magnoli

Pretty sure that font is Benguiat. Possibly the bold version.

Been working on the PPK. Sculpted the grips and rebuilt most of it from a PPK replica.

I think it turned out pretty decent. Was thinking of moulding it.

Nice job! The guy who made the screen used prop got into trouble for altering the art department design and ended up making the handle way too big to the point where Craig had trouble holding it comfortably. That may explain why it didn't get as much screen time as it should have.

As an economic alternative to the Billy Reid pea coat, I picked up this at H&M.

Really comfy, and on sale at the moment for only $50. So if you can't put the money down for the Billy Reid (even though it's not that bad of a price to begin with), I'd recommend this. I'd like to visit a tailor to see if the collar could be adjusted a little slimmer like the Billy Reid.

Anyone find a US supplier for the Skyfall poker set yet?

Good find on the H&M Stuff. That's where I got my henleys for my Drive costume.

I kick myself for not picking this one up when I was in Chicago! I even tried the dang thing on! But I did pick up a super nice pea coat at Target for $50! Its not spot on but it works for me.

the Prop-Maker who made the modifications on the PPK (S) Skyfall is Chris Corbould
he also did all the others "FX" on the Aston Martin, Bond's mansion ...

By cons I know he did not really have problems to adapt the handle "plastic" on the PPK.

hence come the little info like what Daniel Craig was struggling to hold his gun??!
