So I have some stuff that I have uncovered in research and hasn't as yet (as far as I know) been covered.

First up, JB's Peacoat.

It's a Billy Reid navy wool peacoat.

Preorder is done so maybe a second run. Plus it's around $700 and even more with import tax and duty in the UK.

The 'Skyfall Lodge' outfit features a Barbour X To Ki To Beacon Heritage Sports Jacket. This is around £500 when you can find it, which is never as it is not made anymore. It has had the zip and hood parts removed which is apparently easy to do.

The boots were Crockett and Jones Islay in the darker of the two browns (looks lighter but it's lighting)

These are around £357 online.

Suits were tailored (I think as mentioned) by Tom Ford and specifically the Tom Ford Falconer and the Wetherby and so were the aviator sun glasses seen on the island with Javier Bardem.

How do we know this information?

Because it was a PPK used in the film (albeit the S&W version :facepalm ) that had the signature grips fitted. They didn't use a PPK/S as the base gun. They also removed the Smith and Wesson markings from the slide. It's supposed to be a PPK/Signature. Nothing to do with the actual real world model PPK/S.

EDIT: No, it wasn't a S&W PPK at all. The live version was a German ULM with modified grips, but the one most used was a 3D printed model. The beavertail was fabricated from scratch along with the grip design and is not a S&W at all.

When it was first brought up that a lot of people were convinced it was an actual PPK/S, I thought to myself, why change the model of PPK? I'm sure the signature code comes into play or else why have it in the film.

Yeah, I've also been searching for more info on Q's cardigan, no luck at all so far! I really want one!

I was wondering if you would know for sure. I haven't checked over at ajb007.co.uk in a few weeks. Did they still use the .380 version like Q says it is?

Q's cardigan looks like the liner for a Burberry jacket my father used to own. I think my older brother has the jacket now. But I had to put in and take out that liner many times for my father depending on the weather, and the liner could be worn by itself without the shell and it did have the double zip so you could zip it up from the bottom and leave the top zipped.

Yes because smith and Wesson only make a .32 in stainless IIRC

That is true, and makes sense, but weren't the roll marks removed creating a need for a refinishing anyway?

Hmm good point however to blue a stainless wouldnt work hence the "stainless". But there is a process to darken stainless, it's not blued its more like blackening. Pretty much a durable black oxide.

I can't say for sure that they didn't do this but my guess is they used the blued S&W PPK .380.

Little late to the party, but JB was my first movie obsession and first movie prop.
If you have to get any prop from the movie, get the Omega! I got my Goldeneye one for gradution and it is still with me and still as stunning as it was out of the box.

I have an all metal PTP (Police Training Pistol) PPK that I will try to modify. I'll look around at casting it and sculpting the grips. It should be easy but hard if I had to cast it as a metal gun, haha.
