i assume its a toy and has nothing to do with the movie, like every other iron man movie toy

Yeah it looks like there are ROLLER BLADES on one of the suits lol. I just want to see accurate reference shots of both the IP and War Machine suits. Marvel has admitted that both are in the movie separately, and I'd hope that there is more difference than just the paint.

Hey everyone! Haven't posted in a few days (familys in town for the holidays ) So lets get to responding!

Gaiatron- That looks awesome!!! It looks really sweet with the first paint layers on it

Laellee- Awesome pics! Is it me or does it look pretty similar to the Bleeding Edge from the comics? I think it looks cool :thumbsup

New Look At Hasbro's 3.75" IRON MAN 3 Figures?

The pics arent that good and i dont think these toys are that screen accurate, but i think it will help a lot with the boots
Plus, the other IM suits look kinda cool

As for those 3.75"s, yeah I was doing some research on that. A friend of mine (works at a toy distributor) said that Marvel had updated their description listings of the marvel minimates for Iron Man 3 in the last couple of weeks, but no prerelease pics or anything had been distributed even at the distributor level. I hope those 3.75s aren't actual Hasbo released toys, because they look like they have the detail level of the M.U.S.C.L.E. men I had when I was a kid (anybody remember those?) and the finish looks sub-par to me.
Anyways, if you guys get a chance check out thebigbadtoystore.com (where my friend is employed), it's a great place. I dunno if people in other parts of the country (or world) have heard too much about these guys, but I love 'em. And I live 20 minutes away.

Well, if you go the paper way, once you're done with the resin, fiberglass and bondo, yeah you cut it in the middle, and most people use magnets to reattach the two parts I think. Although I'm not very familiar with this method, I like foam building better, it's less time consuming.

also, I'm not sure where this height set scale started.

Suits are scaled by proportion not height of the person.
example : me and my friend are the exact same height with different proportions.

When he wore my Iron man suit, It just didn't work for his body type at all.

If any height is going to be mentioned, it's the height perimeter you're entering for when you measure your body part lengths

with the exception of the width perimeter for the torso parts.

If I were you, I would post a disclaimer in the first post that you are no longer willing to do other people's home-work for them. There seem to be far too many persons not willing to do the necessary research involved in building a proportionate suite.
