[IRONMAN 3] MARK 41 a.k.a BONES freehand build.

so, i'm currently building my very own Ironman suit.
why i pick bones? i'm interested in it's steampunk-like design and it's key feature (as written on 'The Art of Ironman 3') which is that the other pieces of armor can attach to this base suit. HOW COOL IS THAT!

so, basically, i'm making this suit as a base so the pieces of other suit can attach to this suit (excluding Igor).

the problem is, i'm lack of reference picture. so if anybody can helps, i'll be so grateful.

here's some pict. reference i got so far (considered as usable reference), thanks for SOUTHPAW for some reference.

abs pieces, joined with cod pieces.


the helmet was made from Iron Patriot helmet with some modification.
yes, the size is not correct.


and yes, i'm paint it so i can figure out how it'll look after it's done.
(the truth is, i can't hold my self to steampunk-ed it :$)

Mostly 5mm. i use variant thickness to create detail thou

sorry for very late updated on this build. so busy with my work on SFX MakeUp

i can't post detailed updates for now, but here's some eye candy.


what i reach so far in last 5 days is helmet, chest piece, back piece (not so accurate, barely find any detailed reference), abs, cod piece and frame for foot part.
