Looking great so far. Love how your putting all the small details in. This is gonna be a great build.

Yeah I really want this one to be my detail build, first build was getting the concept, second was understanding shapes and movement, this one is gonna be my detail build!

Sorry theres been no progress for a bit, internet died. But I have the shins (MK7 pep done) Abs(freehand) and cod(freehand) done so I'll post them later tonight!

Update! ok all i need now are the helmet boots and gloves, but i may redo the forearms cause they look scrappy

This is all freehand? Cool! Hey where do you get your foam from?

Thanks for reminding me actually =P this is about 75% freehand now. The shins and biceps are pep files from the MK7(shins and MK3(biceps but i actually modified these further to add details and the reciever ontop is all free hand) The neck is also part pep from the MK3 but again I change it where I have to to work with my chest piece!

I live in Ireland so unless your UK I doubt you'd use my supplier but if you want to try its called OTE.i or over the edge.ie, and the foam size I'm using is a mix of 9mm and 3mm( 3mm is mainly for details)

Stuck on the helmet now though and its getting really frustrating, I'm gonna try sculpt again but if that goes belly up I'm gonna have to comission either a 3d model from someone here for me to pep, or a sculpt from my friend Bryan here in Ireland but I guess we'll have to see! I'll be sure to keep you guys posted

ok after much work i have the boots finished! i couldnt find a good ref for the soles so i looked at some older models for inspiration

Whole suit, Only reason Its not been made with paper and fiberglass is its freehand so that doesnt really allow for much give and take with trying design, but hopefully I'll get the whole thing cast before August
I'd like to even try cold cast metal for someparts! I think that'd really add to it over all

well its an awsome job man youve realy studdied it huh

Studied is an understatement =P I'm quite literally obsessed!! But hopefully taht all pays off! Really the big question is do i just plastic coat this one and wear it first then mold it when I have money or do I wait? and mold it when its in best condition]
