Hey MTB, How did the resined helmet turn out? I have about the same size head as you and you might have just inspired me to use your scale to make a new one. I'm gonna hold off to see what you say because I dont want to turn out like a bobble head. And if i'm not mistaken that is Sharkheads work? If so I know its difficult to pep.

I haven't cut the face plate or the back of the helm yet. I'm going to Bondo it first then cut them off. I want to make sure the seams look good so I figured that was the best way. I will post pics when I do it, but right now I'm at Disneyland for a few days for my birthday so it will have to wait =)

Well I'm almost finished with the cutting stage. I have 4 pages left. And as I look at the size of the pieces compared to my stock DungBeetle its just a tad bit bigger. I want this one to be perfect so I can actually resin it without being a bobble head.

Me and my Wife just were talking about that the other day. We figured out that i have been working on and off for about six months. I feel like I'm so close but I dont get much time to work on it now a days. I just have a few more pieces to sand, a few more fingers to pep and them im ready to start the bondo. It has been raining her for the past week, so when that stops ill get on this and get it done!

Small update I finished the fingers!

They look awesome thanks again Zabana! As soon as this rain stops Im all ready to bondo! Everything is build now just have the fingers to fiberglass then all I have left is to bondo and paint everything.......I'm getting excited. I told my Wife we should go to the Avengers premier and ill wear the suit, she just looked at me and said "You can go" lol. I'm going to have so much fun embarrassing her in random places with this! Follow her to the grocery wait for her to start reaching for something on the top shelf (she is short). The come in all loud and Dont worry ma'am Ill get that for you! Get it for her than just hug her and walk out of the store! hahahaha I cant wait!
