This should help: he was working with found parts, scavenging from his missiles and other equipment. he didnt have to make every single piece from scratch like Rick is having to do.

yeah, that sounds like a logical explanation... his missiles were definitely high tech, and since he designed them, he knew exactly what parts did what. it also looked like the only thing he needed to physically make from scratch was that ring... "we've only got one shot at this..."

Here is what I'm thinking. I going to use a flashlight for the power source and base. It has a switch that I can use and a battery removal that can be quicky gotten to. Seems like the abilily of it being worn could be cool. I've kept the piece as low a profile as possible. An RCA plug to attach the piece to a hidden wire inside a costume is a no brainer. I'm planning on getting a flashlight that comes in silver instead of black. I also wanted the piece to be able to be positioned on my desk.

One day I'm going to make a coffee table book or a How TO Make Props book.

Since I'm an outside labor shop I don't get film credits as much as those who are paid by production. I'm asking for it more and more these days but I'd rather still have the cash.

But I will offer up a version of the power point . I have thousands of pictures. Boxes and boxes way before digital.
