no because 3d prints require very high detailed models other wise you're going to end up with blocky parts.

I just thought of something (not sure if its been covered already): For people (me included) who want to model some of these suits, perhaps you could use just these low poly, textured 3d models to use as an ortho modeling base to remodel an actual higher poly pep file
Sort of like this (using the heartbreaker as an example)

You could pretty much do this with the other suit files and modelers could use them as a modeling base![]()

ok so how do we unfold these parts or break up the armor into peices
this is probably a stupid question but how do you open obj files? If theres a common program could someone give a link please?
You can open it with pepakura designer or blender.
Now this is stupid(er) question, how do I assign the material in blender?
