What changed my mind is GrayFoxFlavio's incredible job.

And the fact that I incorporate new technique in this foam build.
Most of Mk5 build is actually make the base form, and adding "plates" or details. I can "cheat" this in different ways and I can do it fast.
So it is now possible for me to do Mk5 (in my mind) without too much work.
All I need is pep file for base (generic) form, or I will make duct tape dummy and scratch build it.
Same as Mk1.

Can't wait to build this suit. Did my first one for Halloween and I'm hooked. All those curves and bends worry me though. Keep up the good work guys. I'll probably wait a while and get te files once you've got them tweaked and perfected. I'd like to have this suit done for the premiere of the movie. Be pretty dope to show up at the movie wearing the suit.

Good news! I have discovered how to create a mannequin in blender! So I am going to be editing some stuff to make it so it deffinetly fits a human.

As an added bonus, I made the dummy 6' tall with a 33" waist. (seemed pretty standard). So all the parts I send out should be about the right size when we go to unfold them!

Hey doc, make human.Org its a free program that creates a 3d Manaquin. You can make whatever size/shape/age you want. Even has rigging so you can pose them the way you want. The program is kind of a pain but it works.

Out of curiosity, how does it fit a female mannequin?

Should be fine. There is quite a bit of room in the chest. I won't have access to my work computer to do more with it until Monday. But I can throw it on a female for you. Heck I can even set it to your dimensions and you can see a virtual "custom fit"! Haha

The chest isn't the problem actually, the diaper and the thighs are what problems that myself and other female IM builders have run into. I had to manually widen the thighs on my War Machine.

No need to rescale anything really, a screenshot is fine. I'm just curious what clipping problems will show up.

Well, as you can see, the thighs are clipping on that male model. And his button cheeks also clip. I'm gonna have to make some adjustments. :-/

Nice move on the dummy, I think I will set up a table of measurement for real this time.Something that I longing to do.

It needs more fine tuning,anybody care to add?

You know, EVENTUALLY, it'd be awesome to have a maniquin set up like that, with sliders like you do in, say, The Sims, to get it to EXACTLY your dimensions, then that shape is applied to the Iron Man, or what have you, pdo's... Oh, I'm such a dreamer.
