the design is really cool, looking at it, i think the gold is just a matt finish.

still at odds as to whether i really like the colour scheme or not, maybe it it was blue/black like the stealth armour then it'd be better.

I love the design, and color wise I'm not too upset because I've seen enough hot rod red and mega glitter gold...This is a win as far as design is concerned IMO!!

I actually like the bulky appearance of the neck and feet...The hand plate covers and the toned down shoulders as well.

Ok, it think what's really bothering me is the Overdesign. There's panels on top of panels here. It's not a 'Suit of Armour', it's an attempt to add 'visual interest' where none was needed. Never mind that I have a hard time seeing a physical person move in that suit, since there's little in the way of flexibility for a realistic, wearable suit that will truly resemble this. It's way too sleek and form fitted. the silhouette has a simple man appearance and not the bulk armour we've come to expect.

It's like the Micheal Bay Transformers Designers were asked to try their hand at this.

Yeah, the Suitcase suit is heavily panelled, but you could see where the joints would flex (moreso because of the overlapped detail) i'm hoping this has a similar reason for existance, cause I wasn't happy with the Suitcase either.

Wow, I'm not sure what to think. I like what Talisen doesn't... it looks more like a "mech" to me, but I absolutely hate the color scheme. I love the way the helmet looks though. So... I guess I'm, overall... "Um... okay?" about it.

I'm ok with it if it was only in one scene like the mark v. I just hope it's not in the whole movie. However, I have a feeling the toy manufacturer's had some influence in this. They needed something totally new looking to sell to the kids. Or at least something the parents would see and not say, "You already have one just like that."

I think it's one of those type of designs you have to look at a lot before you like it. It was the same thing for me and the new Spider-Man suit, the more I looked at it, the more I started to like it.Though I do like the fact that they actually made something different but I would really like to see a bit more red parts on the chest and stomach area!

The new helmet's lines are cool, I like that much. Deffo more aggressive, but all that gold....hideous! The lines and angles of the suit are cool, and I like the silver accents but WAAAAAY too much gold.

the Legacy FX studios are testing the RPF community. Testing how far we can go. This armor has too many details.

i like it, and it looks more like beige than gold.
only thing i dont like is the helmet, the face seems to be weird somehow

i think that they missed the mark with this one.
- structurally, it is gratuitously complex
- color seems to have been applied to panels at random (tops of thumb and forefinger are gold/tan, but the rest of the fingers are red? huh??)
- suit makes it look like tony is starting to get fat...

Wow, I really like this design more so than the previous versions. The color scheme is like how I envisioned a desert storm Iron Man concept would look like. I appreciate the step away from the bright yellow. Also, the level of detail is spectacular, it's definitely eye candy and is what makes Iron Man so cool.

I might take a shot at modeling this suit for pep as soon as I finish up some other models.

I kinda like the Mk.VIII but I don't believe this will be the only armor in the film. After all, there's still the bicep that was on the table from the first image they released. It's similar to the biceps on this armor but still much more sleek. So I'll be waiting to see the Mk.IX

im the minority here, but i really, really like this suit, i dont know why tho

i especially like the helmet, finally a helmet, that has a different look to it.
the color scheme is a little offthrowing, but there probably is a reason, why its that matte color. i dont mind it tho.
over all it has an organic feel, and i can see this being the extremis type armor with all the greeblies
