Iron Man 3 Armor Revealed!

I looks like it has a lot in common with the Mark V suitcase armor. There are a lot of exposed "mechanical" elements. If they use it like they did the Mark V this could be a quick "emergency" armor that deploys from either inside/near Tony (Extremis) or from a better suitcase.

I don't see this being the primary look for the whole movie. I think the colors are just too off from what has already been established.

The more I see this suit the more it grows on me, yes it's a change from the normal colours but I really like it. I've been tempted to start a foam iron man in the past but this version might just make me try it. I wonder who's gonna be the first one to build and pep it.

I say YUCK...!
And it is not gold, more like metallic tan.
Reverse color is slightly better.
If I ever built one, I stick to Mk7 coloring.
The frown is too much.
@El Fett: with this color , EVERYBODY want to damage it, battle or not.
@AxiomUltra: agreed, looks like skinless human body.
@Balmung: agreed, they make it more and more difficult to replicate. What's the point of this?
Please RPF gurus and masters, prove that RPF can replicate it!

Love the helmet, so far the color is ok, too flashy but overall a badass armor...

Hey guy's you have to see this thing in person It's Freakin' Gorgeous! My old Mk 6 is in the office of a Disney Studios producer Named Derek Thompson and I got to see all kinds of stuff there. Its "New Gold" same color as the Pitt Panther's Football teams helmets, or Lexus Gold. I think this suit is "Awesome!!!!" And It fits with all of the ideas in nano tech and future-esque tech we have seen in the movies today. I cant wait to see the weaponry it has for IM3...I didn't like the MK 7 that was too retro....In my opinion "This is the best armor yet! Should have had a triangle reactor though would look much better...I will Be building this one!

I'm loving this new suit. I love all the little micro details in the cracks of the suit. This is shaping up to possibly be my favourite of the 8 armors. I wish I had the time to model it.

You should? You can enlist some help from other vets here...I will build it from your files as a "Original DF Design. I would go the Cardboard Resin and Bondo route though. "No foam.... maybe on some parts like the abs and other flexible areas. A full foam suit just wouldn't work. :thumbsup

I just spoke to someone who was in ComicCon and he said that this is supposed to be the "Silver Centurion" according to Feige.

And the finish on the gold/tan/silverwhatevercoloritssupposedtobe is supposed to be raw brushed vibranium that's why it has a matte sheen on it.

I wonder if the story line has him in outer-space or something. Didn't they refer to the golden alloy being from a satellite in the first movie? Maybe. I don't care for the look though.
