Iron man 2 - Spoilers!

I finally saw this last night. Enjoyed it a fair amount. Maybe not as much as the first movie, but Robert Downey Jr. just makes all his scenes fun to watch. Wanted to see more of the Black Widow in action, like others have said. One thing that did kind of bug me is one scene in the trailers was not in the movie. The scene where Pepper kisses Tony's Iron Man helmet and tosses it out of the plane and he jumps out after it. I thought that scene was very cool, but they dropped it. Hate it when scenes in trailers that I like don't make the movie cut.

What was the whole point of the Strawberries?? That entire 'Tony drives up, buys strawberries, goes to see Pepper and argues' scene could've been completely left on the cutting room floor. If she was allergic to them, why are they there?? And when he looked over the diorama and started to figure things out, well, that whole bit could've been done differently in another scene.

lots of scenes could have been left on the cutting room floor - lets not forget the ridiculous line: "I vant my bird.... I vant MY bird"... .what the heck was up with the bird? Just a random way to develop a character to no avail?

But without that kind of thing, people would complain about lack of character development. :angel

Strawberries to show that he was so out of touch with everyone around him?

eh, by that point in the story everyone was already thinking he was coo coo, it was just unnecessary... and that odd spinning thing on her desk made the scene feel even MORE out of place and pointless. I forgot about the "I want my bird" part, how odd!?

Without over-analyzing things, I still really enjoyed the film. :thumbsup

For the "I want my bird" scene I was expecting something like a talking parrot that Vanko teached him to memorize and repeat in russian a formula or something like that, important to make the reactor... Instead I got nothing:lol oh well, I still enjoyed this movie a lot:)
