yeah people are touchy, just trying to help out those doing customs, but better safe than sorry for it. just wish i knew Russian

Re: Iron man 2

I don't think it's the touchy thing, it's the having the movie to get screen caps thing. The mods don't really care to much for that. Trailer caps are okay though, and movies released on DVD should be fine too, but I could be wrong there.

Re: Iron man 2

Saw the film last night. Great fun! Definitely a worthy follow up to the original. The cast is still very game, and the newcomers were fine, especially Sam Rockwell, who was a blast. Rourke was a very intense badass and Johanson's role is pretty minor, but she was good enough and looks like a million.

And, yeah, stay for the little teaser after the credits. It got a huge reaction. I knew what it was, but I guess a lot of others didn't, they just knew there was "something" extra and went bonkers when they saw it.

Re: Iron man 2

Got to see it last night as well. It was good. However I thought it drug a touch in the middle. I was a little surprised a couple things in the trailers didn't make it to the movie. They were little, and didn't change the story at all, but still...

Intersting item about the tiimeline:
I didn't know that this movie happened before, and the very last part, during the Incredible Hulk movie. At the very end on the TV in the back ground/side ground, you can see the 'news report' that was in the last Hulk movie that was done about Hulk when he was on the campus.

Question about a character:
I thought the guy that was going to be Thor (dude who played Kirk's dad in the last Trek movie) was suppose to make an appearance. Did I miss him?

It was the guy photographed in the prision when Tony meets Vanko, but it's so out of focus you couldn't tell...

Re: Iron man 2

Attended the midnight screening.
Off the bat, I thought it begain in typical sequel fashion, though the movie suffered by having too many gaps between in-suit action.
I enjoyed the viewing experience of the first movie better, but the sequel is fun just the same and Downey Jr's performance is just as good as the first time around.
The easter egg at the end of the credits was the only time I clapped in excitement during the movie....oh, and a certain 'shield' made it's appearence too that got my attention - but not S.H.I.E.L.D but THE shield!!

i totally agree. First was better, but this was still fun. Just way too much draw out between suit up time. Beginning seemed pretty slow and drawn out.

Would have liked more War Machine...

Re: Iron man 2

Nah, not even close.

It's not THAT sucky. Bit flat, pacing a bit off, less soul and charm somehow, I thought. Still plenty of great dialogue. Actually maybe a little *too* heavy on the dialogue. A bit more suit and action wouldn't have gone astray; there were slow points.

Also, could directors *please* get over the F-22? I've had about enough F-22 'car ads' in movies, of late. Yes, the USAF has a new fifth-gen fighter...well done. :p

i will admit seeing two armored comic heroes fighting each other to Daft Punk's Robot Rock was freaking awesome..
