Its a beard. made of meat. Which I termed such after meating George Lucas in 2007. Apparently being literal is not allowed on the internets and someone has to go and ruin that for everyone else these days lol. For the record, telling people not to google something makes them do it LOL it does however make it slightly more appropriate in context.

My son has recently become an Indiana Jones convert and we watch Raiders all the time. I have never seen that heiroglyph while watching the movie, so I'd just like to say THANKS for showing me exactly where it (or at least one of them) is.

I'm sure that to some degree that was meant in jest (not familiar with you.. sorry, I've just never seen many of your posts that i can recall) but it makes me wonder if you aren't the REAL Apollo. :lol (because that line of thinking is WAAAAY out of date)

to those who were supportive (to one degree or another) thank you.
to those (who appeared to be) against my wife.. hey, I'm sorry that she's not quite on our level yet and hasn't got a good sense of humor or a proper ability to cope with criticism. She was raised in a family that tended to blow up over small things ALL the time. I've made a lot of progress in helping her mature a bit but I still have a long way to go.
to Jedifyfe.. honestly, I tend to find most of your posts amusing and the whole "Jedifyfed" thing is hilarious.. I know that Melissa has been, I probably have as well and the other day I sifted through six pages in the search before posting something (in an existing topic). :lol
I'm not sure if you were being... "mean" but I figure you were swinging with the jedifyfed thing so to speak. To a new user, especially one with a thin skin, I can see how it would seem an attack and some people in following posts DID get a little vicious but hey I can let bygones be bygones. I kind of wonder though if someone wouldn't have swung out if she had necro-posted.. I see a lot of that on some sites (no so much here though).
I still like this site and have no REAL beef with anyone here.

I figure that she'll be back eventually. She avoided the site for a while after getting a topic moved on her because it was in the wrong section but I talked her back. Actually, that happened a few times and she got frustrated each time. :lol Right now, she's (asleep) in a better mood..
To be honest, I don't contribute MUCH to the site but only because my knowledge and information on most props are fairly limited. I tend to just share my builds of models and figures with the odd costume bit or DIY paper stuff from time to time.
I've only been a member for a few years but I've been visiting the site regularly since at least 2003. I couldn't register back then because my isp was messed up with their e-mail and at that time you HAD to have an ISP e-mail address (I don't know about now).
I do know that this thread still didn't get as heated as a Vader or Stormtrooper thread. :wacko

Me neither.. the last time I was on a golf course, I swapped my grandfather's ball with one made from compressed talc. :lol
I ended up "scouting ahead" and dropping his ball on the green, near the hole.
I do hit the mini golf places from time to time though. :cool

Yeah, she's good. When I got home from work she was talking with a girl she went to school with who apparently became a pro tennis player or something.
(Neither of us follow tennis but it's still kind of impressive to us)
But yeah, she was in good spirits this afternoon and evening. She even sat in here while I played online games with my friends and cousins. (though she did get on me for getting a little rough with this kid who was running his mouth. I keep my online "speech" fairly clean but when I run into a cheater on a game I can put a sailor to shame) :lol
