Indiana Jones Voodoo Doll - Tutorial - FINISHED !

One of these days I am going to get around to making one of these. Everyone here has done a fantastic job, great work all. And big thanks to Mr. Alan Castillo for the tutorial

Once you make the doll you'll have to get a pin. Can't have one without the other!

All most have an all-natural Thuggee doll. It has a rich aroma of leather, hard wood and coffee.
Ended up having to stain with coffee since I didn't have any wood stain.

The only thing modern ended up being super glue and polyester tread.
With that I feel obligated to cast a metal pin. :(

great tutorial, and lots of searches, interesting.
I am plannig to make a couple of indy props, so I may add this doll to the party.

When you are talking about a solid piece of wood, you mean the head is solid, or made same way ( 4 parts) but from a harder wood?

If I had something like this that smelled like coffee, I'd probably try to eat it in the morning after waking up. LOL. ;)

OK folks, I know some of you have been waiting for eons for me to do this.

I woke up full of enthusiasm this morning, and decided that I am going to start doing it.

Disclaimer : This will take time.

I have as yet to finish my prop room revamp, clear my 'work bench', dig the materials out of a box in the garage etc. Even then, this will not take a day or two to finish, as you will see, these are a MAJOR pain in the derriere to make.

To prove the point, I don't have one for myself at the moment, and haven't for almost 2 years.

Rather than make one, I had asked Relicmaker to make one for me, and he flatly turned me down (clever man) :lol

Also, since its been so long, bare with me eventually while I muddle through one and remember the exact details.

This OP is so that those who are interested in this can subscribe to this thread & be advised when there are updates.

I intend to start within the next 2 weeks, so stay tuned.
Hello, thank you very much for this tutorial. It looks awesome and I can't wait to make my own voodoo doll. I was wondering though, for the maharaja pin stuck in the doll, did you make that too? Can one get that separately?
What would you recommend?

For the Voodoo Pin theme talk to Relicmaker to find out about another run...
