Man, I’m walking into these forums just like Indy walking into the Ravenwood bar, it’s been a long time. But I wanted to share my recently finished Indiana Jones costume, go through the gear and give a probably unimportant story as to why it was such a sentimental build. But first, the fun...
I was wondering if anyone out there could advise me on making a sankara sanskit from Indiana Jones and the temple of doom? Are there any tutorials out there at all? I really would like to make one for my own collection.. thanks in advance :-)
Does anyone out there have a set of the Markpoon "Lao Che" gold coins from Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom?
To be clear, I'm only looking for the Markpoon specific version as I already have or had other versions in my collection, but I've yet to get a set of those.
Send me a PM if you...
These are stands for RelicMaker's oval cubic zirconia "Lao Che's Diamond", a.k.a. The "Peacock's Eye", a.k.a The "Eye of the Peacock Diamond"...
I made these stands for my own use, but decided to put them up for others looking for a similar solution (I couldn't find anything adequate). I...
I was able to source a really accurate 1 Inch Roller Bar Buckle for Indiana Jones MK VI Bag Straps. This is identical to the buckle used on his bag in Temple of Doom, Last Crusade, and Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
Is there any interest in this? I could offer these with 1/ 8" open post Chicago...
Gotten a few requests about this project, and I know it's been a while since I offered them, but I've found a pretty great company who works with CZ, and they can make em.
So, any interest in em?
Bit better pic to show it off.
If I can get an interest list going I can work up...
Hey Indy fans! Finally an Indy gun thread! Lol, but thanks for clicking.
I have been wondering where to get a good replica Indiana Jones gun. Now I know that he has multiple, but I would like to know where to get each of them :D lol. If you have your own then post em' up!
Hey, thanks for clicking! Was just wondering about the durability of rabbit felt hats, and if they compare to beaver. Feel free to post your own Indy hat down below.
L.S.,
I am a rookie when it comes to prop-making and, after just hanging around here, this is my first post.
I am trying to make some Sankara stones from Indiana Jones ToD. As it stands i have successfully created my first mold, and am experimenting with casting. The idea is to make both the...
This thread is an information and discussion thread. Feel free to talk.
Welcome to the thread! Here I am listing the most accurate versions and vendors for the iconic Indiana Jones Costume Gear (Original Raiders of The Lost Ark Version). I will soon add links to the pages. (Disclaimer: I am...
Hey guys!
I'm sure there's a couple of you who remember me getting one of these model kits and even offering to go in as a group to get one of these kits at a discount.
Well, I finally finished mine and here it is in all it's glory!
I ended up molding and casting the 'chalice' part in...
FINALLY starting on this sucker after pretty much a lifetime of wanting to be Indiana Jones when I grew up. I decided that rather than keep it strictly screen accurate, since I was already doing Rule 63, I'd make some changes and adapt the costume to be more geared towards 1930s women's...

Hey all. In my browsing online for sankara stones, I came across this on etsy:

Does anyone have one from this seller? Is it any good? I know I read somewhere that there is a maker of Indy props that...
Hi, I so happen to be a huge Indiana Jones fan, and I am on a quest to try to find and recreate the many documents or props that are in the movies, games, ect. Unfortunately, I was not familiar with this site or prop replicating many years ago and came across the people and its resources too...
I made these three sheets many years ago and thought I'd finally share them here as printable versions.
I added a byline to my original version as it'd be interesting to see if these end up finding their way to eBay. In any case... just download, print and age...
After reading a lot on RPF/COW forums and looking at pics, it looks to me as if MarkPoon's version of the diamond is the best-looking version of them all.
And of course, that version has eluded me so far.
So, I'm giving the WTB route a try.
In the off-chance that someone has a MarkPoon diamond...
I have been trying to hold out and wait for RelicMaker to make more of these, but if anyone else is doing a run or has a spare RelicMaker they were willing to part with then I would definitely be interested. Please let me know.
I made this prop for my brother as a Christmas gift. It isn't perfect, but it's way closer than anything else I have seen.
http://www.idealcapco.com/EBBK002.html --- this site makes older-style baseball hats. The "Brooklyn" style with the pinstripes is awesome for this. Also, no cardboard jn...
I started to sculpt the monkey head around a ball of styrofoam to keep the overall weight relatively light it also serves as a good basis for the head.
Adjusted the nose and added more details like the little wrinkles on the face.
Added the ears and covered the whole ball in clay...
