Here's some variants I have of the Telegram

Great work Dylon, but I found a few spelling mistakes:

In the first graphic the title should be written this way: Reichsministerium für Altertumforschung. You missed the two dots over the "u" in für and in the word Altertumforschung replace the "e" (between s and h) with a "c".

In the second telegram you missed one "s" in the word STAATSABTEILUNG.

Apart from that good job.

From what I can get, the first telegram reads more or less something like this:

DEVELOPMENT TANIS CONTINUES PURCHASE THE HEADPIECE OF THE RA. ABNER RAVENWOOD


Second telegram:

DEVELOPMENT TANIS GOES UP - ACQUIRE THE TOP OF THE POST FROM RA. ABNER RAVENWOOD

The Telegram Copy is a little bit weird German.

In the movie he reads in the german voice acting: "ENTWICKLUNG TANIS-PROJEKT, ÜBERNAHME LAUT BERECHNETER ZEIT. ERWERBEN KOPFSTÜCK - STAB DES RA - ABNER RAVENWOOD, US.

It's means a little it more than in english, like: Development Tanis project, Takeorder according to calculated time - Acquire Headpiece - Staff of Ra - Abner Ravenwood, US.

I also like the 2nd version on another Telegram I have on my HD: "ENTWICKLUNG TANIS GEHT WEITER. ERWERBEN SIE DAS KOPFSTÜCK - STAB DES RA - ABNER RAVENWWOD, US. That's closer to the english original words.

Maybe you should fix it a little bit... that it matches the first Telegram...

I'll give it my best try at editing but these are still other people's versions, you can find the original creators on the Raiders of the lost Ark Thread, maybe they would be of more help or perhaps I'll make my own abner telegram using the correct German you suggest

Oh ok. I thought you made the Copy of the Telegram.

BTW: Does anyone know the date? I found some pictures on the web and some discussion, that the message was intercepted on June 7, 1936, the note of interception was made on June 12. Now the telegram was sent on March 13. And all the other documents are from July. What could be possible in the movie? I think even 1936 it doesn't take 3 or 4 months to send a telegram from Cairo to Berlin?!?
