Thank you everyone for the comments! More updates. The design is finished. I am waiting for the clear resin to arrive, so I can start production. I will create a project run thread soon. For now please check out the latest work in progress photos:

Brilliant and awesome work there!.Just love your attention to Detail and the amount of Hours you probably spent checking Refference material...simply brilliant!
If you are planning to do a Resin Kit I am 100% in for it .

Thank you so much everyone for the kind words. I do plan to release it as a kit, but SLA printed. If done in resin, a lot of details will have to be sacrificed.

Here is a rough fitment with the top part of the hull. This is v.4 Salzo kit. I haven't really done anything to it yet other than cleaning up the windows a bit.

Those coaming angles are a PITA in 3D..The three quadrants on the coaming edge I think are aircraft controls.Lovely work and Ill have a set for my Hasbro one I started one ages ago but got nowhere..

Version of the cockpit for 1/29 Revell kit:
As usual, some cutting, sanding and fitting is required to fit in the cockpit. The clear parts are not shown but will be included.

The 1/24 scale cockpits arrived yesterday. Two are for commission builds (Dao2) and one is for me. These are phenomenal !!! If you are on the fence questioning if you should get these, jump down off that fence as fast as you can and place your order. No really, why are you still reading, you should be ordering.

Any corrections, if any, would be easier access from the bottom (like a removable one). This would help greatly in the area of lighting. Otherwise, this is a fantastic addition to the Salzo kit.

Thank you very much! I am really glad you liked it and I appreciate the comments. What I was thinking is the cockpit has two "walls", external and internal. External essentially serves as a support during printing process, it is not visible after it is installed. So you could possibly trim that external "wall" from the bottom up to the level you are comfortable with. That would provide much better access for installing fiber optics.
