Amazing work. I actually think this would make a great display piece in its own right!

Any plans for doing others?

That cockpit looks incredible, let me know how much and when I may order one.

I need to second all the comments here. Mine arrived last week and looks great. For anyone still trying to decide, I highly recommend. If you don't mind me adding them, here's a few shots of it straight out of the box before any primer or cleanup (to include the great packaging job). Thanks again for a great cockpit.

Thank you very much for the great comments! Just wanted to add, because the resin is translucent, it looks much better after priming.

Would this work in the Hasbro 1/24 X-Wing? It's gorgeous!

Technically it should since the studio scale is also 1/24... But I don't have the Hasbro 1/24, so can't say 100%... Some modifications most likely will be needed...

Any chance we could one day see this in 1/48 have about 5 X-wings in the stash that could you an upgrade?

Chris, the details of the cockpit will all have to be reworked for 1/48 because it gets so small... I am tied up with other projects at the moment, so not in the near future. Maybe in a few months, who knows.

A 1/48 scale cockpit would probably best be done in cast resin using a master based on some excellent research (like Gus'!)

Bit of a bump, but awesome work!

Out of curiosity, have you considered using Battlefront as a reference for the ANH cockpit? The console isn't the same as the one in the full-scale ship mock-up, but it IS the one that gets shown the most throughout the Battle of Yavin sequence. The 3D artists had access to ILM and Lucasfilm files that apparently aren't available to the general public, so it should be very accurate.

My bad, didn't consider it as a reference. I really want to play Battlefront but free time is such a precious matter these days! Almost like gold :)

With the VR version coming out that seems to be a great opportunity to get screenshots of the various nooks and crannies.

Re: Incom T-65 Screen Accurate ANH Cockpit in 3D to Print for Studio Scale |Build Thr

Battlefront models looks good and are very close to film, but not completly accurate. You need to check it against reference and correct mistakes. I have few models from this game (also cockpits) so I can tell. (I did check Tie-Fighter extensively, because I am working on 3d model of it and wings are lot bigger than it sould be, for examle. Was surprise for me considering they had acces to originals).

But you can deffinitely use X-wing front panel from this game. Wery accurate to the Battle of Yavin sequence. Unfortunately there is no reference of lower part of it:

I know on the BF model the lower portion is left blank. I think that's where the targeting scope...

PS: Looks like Photosuckit has broken the images in the thread.
