Hi all want to make the following armour ?

How do i go about making it and what steps should i take ?

Could anyone foam pepakura it for me ? if so how much for the commission ?

I am thinking of using gundam armour as a guide, the face/helmet looks like a Japanese samurai mask

It's Incursio armor from Akame ga Kill. ;) As for making it, I can see using the Gundam file and making mods and free handing the rest of the armor which is pretty much just the paldrons and chest piece. Going to put the next bit in a spoiler tag if you haven't read the manga:

Tatsumi will eventually receive Bulat's Teigu after the dies and there's a bit more to the armor detail if you're willing to wait for more references if it gets that far in the anime.

Now, personally, I prefer Wave's Grand Chariot armor and may possibly make this myself if I can convince a friend to cosplay as Kurome. I'm hoping he and the rest of the Jaegers make an appearance soon in the anime:

yeah i am reading the manga, i am hoping to make Incursio as he appears now for the expos this year then when, said event happens i will be able to adapt it to suit Tatsumi

The wave looks awesome i may consider it depending how successful this one turns out, if i were to freehand the horns how do i get the 3d look with out the template ?

I was thinking of making an incursio myself, great reference pics by the way!

The first thing I thought of when I saw incursio's helmet was the tesla helmet from fallout 3, side by side they're not terribly similar, but to me the eyes and wing-type things off the sides of the forehead are somewhat the same. As for the horns, do you mean the little spikes on the top of the helmet? My first thought is two pieces of craft foam glued together on one edge and spread out to create a sort of backwards hood scoop on the head (it's hard to describe with just words, sorry)

Good luck!

I was thinking of doing the same thing but Im still on the fence. If you want a suggestion for an eye glow effect, go to the dollar store and look where they have school binders that are various opaque colours and try to find yellow. Use that for the eyes in the mask. Leave a slit open above the eyes for you to see out of and put metal(shiny) duct tape on the inside of the eyes. On the side of the eyes just inside the mask, do your best to have a yellow LED on each eye and they should glow quite well. You might need to scuff the plastic a little bit with a really fine sand paper(600 grit) or something similar for better diffusion of the light. Anyway, just a suggestion if you're feeling ambitious. Since so many people have been making Iron man outfits, you could look for glowy eye tutorials for iron man masks and do something similar.

The pasta thief = helmet was very hard to make so i decided to leave it till last, working on the rest of the armour and neuonte

Roaoon Thanks for that will give that a shot when i get there
