I love this kit & BanDai's style,.....I've ordered the R2 & R5 kit.......can't wait

Nice weathering on the sandtrooper! I just finished the assembly on mine last night. You want to describe your techniques -- so I can then steal them and finish mine? :rolleyes

Well I did the same as the Scout Trooper,....Sprayed all the white parts with White Hycote car primer,....when dry & buffed up the surface with a scouring pad,....this gave the raised surfaces a shine

Then I just used oils & thinners

The orange pauldron was Mr Hobby H24 with a touch of red

Love this kit,.....cant wait till Boba arrives

Thanks guys,....

No mods on the necks of these ones.....I did thicken up the neck of the Biker Scout though,....when he's on the bike & looking up you can see that he has no throat,...so I used filler to make it more believable

Ordered mine a few days back and I plan to do something with that brow piece. It's too low for an ANH sandtrooper as almost all ANH helmets had a brow that curved upwards above the eyes. Great kit from what I've seen, I have built a few of their gundam kits, the biggest being their OG Perfect grade Zaku 2 from the late 90s:
