Immortan Joe costume from Mad Max, Fury Road

Expensive though 55$ for an imitation filter. Just 1. Yikes. I paid 20 for two lawn mower filters and they are pretty close

Goodies came today. And yes that's the real key hole medal. Not a 3d print uploadfromtaptalk1441756700364.jpguploadfromtaptalk1441756712563.jpg

Can't seem to remember my damn password, was trying to get this out all prior to DragonCon but Eagle insignia here: http://www.vanguardmil.com/products/usn-regulation-size-officer-cap-device
Don't order the black metal version it doesn't say it but it is a miniature. Price maybe should have been a DUH!.
I'm almost positive I saw that topper on Joe's "500" medal on this site as well.

also: best I've found on the air filters:

Those are the wrong air filters. They are to big. You need 11 or 12mm fitting and a little more long gated

Nice job on the medals though. I didn't see the 500 one. What category is it in?

I looked through all the ribbon toppers again but now can't find it.
what's the estimated dimension on the air filters, advanced auto has some here on the rack that look close but can't find them online to link.

I don't know but I just know all the cone ones have a 3 in. Connection and the hose connection is around 11 12mm. I've searched everywhere. The closest I found was lawn mower filters. But they arnt coned, just straight. Looks good though

Great photo! Proves that the thing on the right chest is not a faucet handle or a cocktail strainer but a stack of steel pieces with a spring attached. It also shows the weird (?hinge) top of the 500 medal and the hose clamps used to keep the dark hoses in place on the way to the bellows.

uploadfromtaptalk1441841121760.jpg I'm using this for now and adding a square washer nut that holds the high back to the base plate on snow board bindings. If I find something better I'll let you know

So...maybe this is a crazy question, but hear me out. I know that a lot of folks here are using (or planning to use) the Amazon metal Roman breastplate as a mold for their Worbla/PETG for Joe's armor. It seems a little excessive for each person to pay $65+ for a mass-market costume piece we're only going to use once and then throw into storage, so I was trying to think of alternatives. Is anyone here willing to loan out their metal breastplate for others to borrow, for the cost of shipping? Or - wishful thinking - is anyone willing to make a quick and dirty PETG pull off of their breastplate that they could sell? I know $65 isn't outrageous, but it just seems kind of wasteful, since I know I'll never use that breastplate otherwise.

I'm sure someone could help you out. Big boss is making mine. But he has extra petg. These bottle caps suck balls
