Hey man, I've been a lurker on this thread, trying to get ideas for my Joe costume and I've completely hit a road block with the chest armor. So I wanted to sign up and ask how much are you charging for these? Out of complete curiosity. I have some back up ideas, but if I can get the pretty much real thing, that'd be awesome! haha.
 
I used about 2/3 of the big roll of mole skin on Amazon to put a double layer all the way around all the pieces. Cut each piece down the center slightly off center, creating a slightly narrower "half" and a slightly wider "half." Put the narrow one on first and then cover that with the wider one. This way, only one edge shows.

A little more progress on the buck - these'll be available starting mid-October, so should fill the vacuum left by bigboss' deployment pretty well!

Cross those nipples and dot the I's.
 
I own a 3D printer and am very thankfull for all of the 3D models that you all have uploaded to this forum. I have found all of them to be very nice but i can't seem to find one for the piston tips of the shoes. Can anyone point me to those?

Totally loving all of the friendly people here helping each other out!

I am also willing to print all or any of the models and ship them if anyone is interested. Feel free to PM me.
 
Alright everyone with orders for my armor me and the wife are pumping them out like crazy and our goal is to have them all out by the 7th October so hopefully everyone can have them by Halloween those that have received please feel free to leave me feedback please you guys are all great by the way

I may be able to do that, but I'm going to be a busy little boy the next few weeks. I'll probably do it that way for my own...we'll see how it goes.

Done molding the chest and back pieces and pauldrons and I'm pretty happy with it all. By no means perfect but for me first attempt in that sort of material I think it's pretty workable. Ordered a few more accoutrements and hopefully I'll win a bid on a Nokia 6100. Gonna be taking it down to the wire but with some luck I will hopefully not be MEDIOCRE four weeks from now...
 
Thanks for the update. Been busy but not much work going on costume. I finished a bottlecap matrix & currently trying to bang out a faux belt for Immortan Joe- it's ugly but it may have to do for now. I got a plethora of stuff in- most importantly a great mask by Immortalprops!
