people like this should just be banned from ever being allowed to speak openly. it doesnt matter if youre pro or contra gay, but noone has the right to tell other people what to do.

and comparing homosexuals to pedophiles and sociopaths takes the cake.

another thing i have to say, it seems this attitude is mainly US based. i have yet to meet one person around here who is against gays.

My buddy is just an insanely huge DC and JLA/JSA fan.

I can almost guarantee they chose Alan Scott because of the word of mouth when people say "OMG green lanterns gay!!!" and people freak because they think it's Hal or John.

I just wish they hadn't decided to make it a big spectacle and just let it happen. Do comics the way they used to be where you're flipping through an issue and bam! Supermans dead or Jean Grey does. Instead they make huge announcements and people are quite literally counting down the issues until the death issue and then when it happens you go "meh" and then read your other comics.

I'm so thankful for our moderators and the civil folks on this forum. I'm on a firearm forum and this topic came up in several threads...Its unreal how intolerant people can be.

Any way I can say the only damage done to Green Lantern's character recently has been done by Ryan Reynolds.
