I can surely see the first one hanging in a collection. the 1:1 scale things are not realistic to someone with a real life and a wife..LOL

yep, once early in our marriage I had the TRU falcon , Naboo and droid fighters hanging in our apartment...she liked them but after Awhile I took them down due to not wanting to press my luck

And that folks is why I have to build another garage. Inside I will hang whatever the hell I please. This is the first I have heard of the FAO X wings. It looks OK but a little bit stubby. Maybe an optical illusion due to the fact that the engines arent attached.

i remember looking up at that xwing the few times i went to that fao store. i didnt think there was any more than a top to it because it was hanging from the ceiling upside down cluttered with all sorts of other crap.

Well...I must admit that having a real life and a wife make it a little more difficult, but not COMPLETELY unrealistic...

I was a proud owner of that "life-size" X-wing for a while before it was sold again. When I realized that I had won the original auction, my wife thought I was nuts. One of my other partners in crime had to fly to Orlando that very weekend to supervise it's removal from the ceiling of the FAO toystore there. And we shipped it back to Texas in a big FedEx truck...Good times...I believe it currently resides in a private collection down in Australia.

I´d like to hang my falcon and naboo fighters as well, but the potential of constant head bumping has me worried...
