Hey looking quite good.Alot of potential there.....you need a cape hook. I think you also need some padding in under the armor to lift it a little. Also to bulk you out and maybe something to position your cape better underneath. Maybe velcro? Lastly update your boots....laces showing sorta ruin the effect lol ;)

Thanks man, I do have a cape hook on the armor already and i doo plan on adding padding underneath it. I just recently got the boot, i can de lace them.

Certainly a start. You really needs boots that aren't laced at all, ideally you'd get riding boots that are about $200+ but you can certainly pick up cheaper costume boots for less. Its the littel details that make the difference. What are you aiming for specifically, because you seem to mostly have ESB but not only [The rubies helmet's ROTS] items there?

Thanks, im going for an ESB Vader, and ur right i should get new boots.

Okay thats my pet peeve, the Helmet from Rubies is not an ROTS one, its An ESB helmet.
TON of pple keep saying its an ROTS helmet. It came from the DP classic action ESB molds. The asymetric features are a deadd give away that its not a ROTS Helmet

Here is a vid of me in it with breathing added. BTW the cape looks like it points at the top on the shoulder area, how do i fix that?

and thanks agian guys for the tips and comments.

The Rubies is not a ROTS, it's ESB based.

Tons of people have modded these to look much better, the biggest issue with them is the lenses which really throw the look off. With a little work, new lenses can be mounted from the inside , then with a repaint the helmet can look really good.

I agree that you should invest in some non-laced boots, it would look much better.

With Vader accuracy, the devil really is in the detail, but to the average fan I'm sure the set-up you have now would be Vader.

Great start.

looks good! nice start to a great costume! here are a few of my ESB vader, let me know if you need anything i have alot of vader stuff on hand.

Ummm, yes, I need one of the girls like the one on the right. Great suit btw.

Thanks man, do you have any armor? if so how much and ditto on the cod too.

Oh what i really need right now is to replace my body suit from this horrid polyester one.

You might need a longer cape chain or something, not sure :S

Also, modifiying the dome-mount on the rubies helmet (to allow the dome to sit lower on the head) will make a significant difference and take it a step forward to movie accuracy.

I'm jealous of your chest armour and control box, I'm stuck with the standard rubies stuff unfortunately :(

i have armor if you wanna buy a set. its portumac and its painted nice with bells attached for 285$ plus shipping, let me know if you want it
