How many Jurassic Park movies are they going to make?

Just watched Dominion and it's the same movie as all the rest. How many times are they going to make a movie about dinosaurs getting loose, a mad scientist, DNA manipulation, someone from the original franchise coming back to save everyone then getting chased by a giant bipedal beast that eats T-Rexes for breakfast, the final dinosaur battle and the place being designated a protect preserve after the dust settles??

I read the next movie will basically wash, rinse, repeat.

Maybe I'm just getting old.

I always thought the 2nd film should have explored the idea of why things fell apart, and them realizing it was all because of Nedry and shutting the fences down. But the only way to learn his intentions, would be to go back with a team and investigate, which could lead them to Dodgson, the opposing company.
Like with any good film, it would need to be written well, but, I think its a little late now for all this.

I'm still waiting for a crossover with 'Fast & Furious'. It would end with Vinnie jumping a Dodge Charger into a Tyrannosaur, like an upper-cut to the jaw, to knock it unconscious.

It's too bad because there were much better sequels that could have been made. But in the 1990s they weren't willing to put full effort into monster-movie sequels yet. By the 2010s-2020s they were too risk-averse to do anything but make endless clones of the first movie.

One good one, then no point in counting. My son loves them though, so I will see the next one opening weekend as always.

I loved the first one. Actually liked 3 a lot. Really enjoyed Jurassic World.
All the others are meh to just bad. In particular the last two films. Thought they were horrible.

Each sequel in the franchise adds value to our rich collective lore.

There is so much more that needs to be said about the giant reptiles that eat people alive and the people who chose to spend their time around them.

May the stories continue into infinity and the sequels never end.

Well, now that there's going to be an "Alien Earth" movie, it would be fun to get those critters battling the dinosaurs...or is this too much?:lol::lol:
