Home Depot Holiday Stormtrooper Animatronic

Has anyone figured out a way to reprogram the voice? I imagine deleting what’s on their and putting in Stormtrooper quotes and some blaster sounds. How hard could it be?
There are people in the FB group who have done this... sort of. They are putting their own motion sensor/speaker/sound board in. I think I will be doing it in the same fashion. I didn't see anyone who had actually been able to change the sounds that play from the included parts.

In related news - there's also a FB group for modding the Darth Vader. I wasn't going to bother with that one, but after seeing people swap out the helmet for the Jazwares one (which I have arriving tomorrow), it makes quite a difference. AND the Home Depot near me just got some in stock... is the universe trying to tell me something?

The company that makes these are really nice to deal with. The upper left leg of my trooper was split open a warped along the seam. I sent them pictures, receipt, and details per the info on the included instructions. I got a quick response. I was informed the part was out of stock but would ship as soon as it was available. That was less than a week and I got info about the part being prepared for shipping and then the tracking info. So it was a smooth customer service experience.

Hasbro helmet more securely attached. I’m going to get a second (hopefully there will be some good Black Friday deals), then fiddle with transferring the guts so that it moves like the HD one.

If anyone hears of these going on sale please post ASAP! I’d like to pick up a couple more.

Man, that's so tempting!! I just don't have the room! Even at full price it's impressive... with the discount... holy...

I messaged my friend so she could buy a second, bought mine, then I posted it on Yakface FB, and it looks like they’ve sold 300 since then.

It’s all I can do not to order more…

Is the armour moulded into the body as one part or could it potentially be swapped out with a more accurate kit?
