The sword and shield of Achilles and other arms and armor from the Trojan war would be interesting. Homer does describe it in detail in the books of the Iliad. Salimbeti made some nice reconstruction drawings.

Since I know of its existence, I always wanted to have a working Enigma cipher machine. But as I would never be able to afford one is started to replicate my own.

And so far, I manged to build one working rotor.
