Help: Revell Easykit factory paint

Does anyone know what kind of paint Revell uses on their Star Wars Easykits? It seems to be lightly sprayed onto bare plastic, without any primer, which suggests that it's enamel, but I don't want to risk it reacting with whatever I use for my new paint job. Has anyone had problems?

I have had a couple of these. Cover them with some Halfords plastic primer and your good to go. No reation problems.

I had one, and sprayed over it with krylon primer. No problems with it., but if you like, I recall it removes with 91% rubbing alcohol.

I remove the prepaint by soaking all parts in ethyl alcohol for a couple of days, then most colours come off pretty easily when scrubbing them off with a dish cleaning sponge. The dark grey weathering streaks and red paint are a bit more resistant though. Since alcohol works I´d think they use acrylics...
