Help needed. Making helmet visor

Ok I need some help with this. I am trying to make the yellow helmet visors for the pilots of the Salzo Snowspeeder kit. I made a master out of plastic and made a silicone mold. I tried using Smooth-On 325 clear resin colored with a yellow tint liquid. The castings come out cloudy but the stuff left in the cup is clear. I also thought of heating a piece of Evergreen yellow sheet in the oven an forming it around a mold. Any suggestions? What worked for you?
Thanks
Scott

You might not have a large enough piece for the proper reaction for the resin to cure, or the tint may be causing problems. Try casting a clear piece without tint to see if this still happens. If it doesn't, you may still be able to get a translucent paint to put over top for the same effect. Or you could try making another mould with a larger piece that you can trim away.

Thanks I tried some different things with the resin but nothing works. I think I will try heating a sheet of something and forming it around a mold
