Help Needed Identifying this Star Wars Gun

Evening All. I picked this up on t'bay earlier and I was wondering if it's based on anything in particular, or is it just a rather poor E-11 copy? I've no idea of the size, and all it says in the description is that it's a 'Star Wars Gun that makes noises, bought in Euro Disney two years ago'.

Ideas, anyone?

You're probably spot on. Still, it looks close enough to a DH-17 that I might be able to do something with it.

I remember owning one of these around 2005.
It's just a regular star wars knock-off rifle.
In my opinion, it's closer to the E-11.

Well it finally arrived, and yes, it is a knock-off. The stickers on the sides even said 'Star Force'!!!!! Here it is alongside a Hasboro E-11, and it's pretty much the same size. The electronic sounds are more like an SMG than a blaster; but it does vibrate rather satisfyingly on each shot. Still not sure what to do with it; but it's got potential. I'll keep you posted.

Well I went for a generic Star Wars look in the end. Satin black base coat with detail in polished steel and a gunmetal wash for weathering. The only mod was a small rubber washer on the front end of the scope.

I like it, looks very Star Warsesque. Since it's so similar to the E11 you could always call it an E10 or E12 and say it's another model of gun made by the same company that made the E11, it could even be predcessor or successor to the E11.

That's it! It's a prototype of the blaster that eventually became the E11, hence the similarity. Now I wonder how it ended up in the hands of Rebel Scum like me???

Tanks for the nice words.

G'night

Did you ever see the Batman E-11?

These knock offs were really common in KB Toys. The one at my mall always had them in stock, but I'd never seen a white one before, they were always black. I've seen a few nice conversions/customizations floating around online, I don't think I have any links bookmarked though.
