Help - "Monster arm"

I'm going to make a costume (of something I'm not revealing yet), and one feature of the costume it a "deformed" arm. I've found that the best solution would be to make a latex glove which can be detailed with foam rubber and colored latex or something similar. My problem is this:

How do I make a latex glove to fit my arm perfectly?* Do you think that since latex is stretchy, I could go ahead and make the glove on for example a mannequin's hand?
Also there's the question of what kind of liquid latex to use... Would mould latex work? And what about body paint latex?

To me body paint latex seems a bit flimsy as it "can be torn off afterwards"... I wan the glove to be reusable. My only problem with moulding latex is that I have no idea how I would paint it/add color to the latex and if it would even work.

Please help me if you have any idea about any of these issues! Thanks.
(*Since some kinds of latex are not good for using on skin as it contains amonia)

if it needs to be of dimensions close to your own arm, get a set of those elbow length lycra gloves. put a disposable medical style glove on then wrap your arm in clingfilm, tape it to the glove and then put the lycra glove on top. Then you can latex on top of that and your skin is protected.
Bear in mind a long appliance like that will be tough to get on and off once finished.

If the final piece can be a looser fit then use a rubber chemical gauntlet as a base.

You can easily mix in acrylic paint to the latex to colour it.

With a few minor adjustment, it might actually work, Sidewinder, I'll keep it in the back of my head for now. Thanks for the idea!

Afraid not, MooCriket. ;P

The point of this thread was not so people could guess who's costume I'm making, but for the purpose of getting help with something, so can we keep to it please?
