Couple of old friends who built the original were in my cave only last week!
The original motivator I made for my mecha-hand has sadly pulled itself apart, it was a resin print (like 9 years ago) and with all the lines that feed into it, with brass fittings, that part is under some strain. it's doing the same on both Mecha Hands I built. So I need to make two new ones. I'm personally rebuilding one from scratch, machining it from aluminum like the original. My plan was to make a mold of that body, and to use a casting with cut aluminum parts for the second motivator. and 3d printing for the rest. It's a LOT of work, but I'll eventually finish and make a video on Tested about it. As for the original STL files, I'll talk to Sean Charlesworth, who drew the original. Maybe they still exist.
Millenbaugh was Scott Millenbaugh, a machinist at Spectral Motion who brought the motivator into being, putting in such extra effort that they named it after him.
