Heimdall Cosplay from Thor: The Dark World

Here are some pictures of my armor and Sword of Asgard build for this weekends Wizard World - Chicago Comic Con. This is still a work in progress and I'll post finished work later this week. Thanks to gimpee and lovelyandy for help with the pepakura files.

Thank you. It was a bit difficult converting this from paper to foam, but I've enjoyed the process and learned a lot.

i looks ace, i've made mine out of card and am currently resining it, gonna take a while before it's as cool as yours.

lovelyandy, I decided to make mine out of foam. I used the pepakura file from gimpee and it worked well. I had to leave off some pieces but got it resolved. There are more picts of the build and shots from Comic Con in my profile here

I asked my buddy at Legacy FX if they could make me a Heimdall helmet from the original molds, but it turns out ghat it would be too pricey.,, time to break out the L200
