Headgoonie Back to the Future 40th Anniversary Denim Jacket

I actually found the Guess Youth Pants that went together with Marty’s Jacket as a matching set. Very 80’s style patchwork!

That's awesome! I know the 1983 style also had matching pants, but I've never been able to find them.

Yea I feel like nobody would ever wear those pants now, unlike the jacket which still holds up today, I’ve worn my replica around just to help weather it a bit and I’m always surprised by the amount of positive comments I get on it, even from people that don’t recognize it from BTTF.

You got a HG or a MaxCady?

Have been using a MaxCady with my costume, it’s not a bad replica. But I’m currently making a new jacket using genuine vintage George’s Marciano Guess denim and Nick’s latest version of liner fabrics, very similar to MitasTouch’s new project!
Awesome. I'd love to see it when it's finished! Or maybe any in-progress photos?

The shape of the fly and pockets very closely resembles the yoke.

Because the jacket itself is super nice looking. It really isn’t because it’s BTTF. It has a cool design that you almost never see anywhere.

I got zero comments on my 83, which was very surprising. Maybe the 84 just has something going for it.
