Oh, was there rumors there is more than 1 pred? There's only 1, I can confirm that. One single pred is sent back to tidy up the mess from the crash.

The rumors I've read stated there would only be one predator, which I was hoping were dead wrong. I was suggesting that the title pretty much confirms the stuff I've read about there being only one pred. You mention a single pred being sent back to clean up the mess. That would indicate that "the high council" or some such entity on the pred home world made a conscious decision to send a lone warrior to deal with the aliens. That makes no sense at all, I don't care how bad ass Mr. Wolf is. The story makes more sense if he is the lone survivor of the crash.

Either way, those nimrods let the cat out of the bag by showing us the impaling scene. B)

Looks really good! But I'll reserve myself somewhat because they can make a trailer that makes even the worst movie look good.
I'm not sure about the double cannon deal, but there was enough other cool stuff going on that I can overlook that.
May not be as good as the first film, but it should be a good enough!

So, in the beginning of the trailer the ship flying through space theres a blue explosion. Is it a pod being deployed or is it an explosion from inside the ship? I cant see a pod in the scene. Is this what causes it to crash? If so, is it supposed to be the ship and the hybrid from AVP. Then our boy comes down to clean up? If so......sweet.

-The "Blue explosion" is not an explosion. its the sun reflecting off the ship as the ship enters earths atmosphere breaking the sound barrier.

-The ship in the beginning of the trailer is the ship that explodes on earth. I don't think anyone is realizing that its a ship crashing onto earth - Full of PREDATORS. lol. I don't think the predalien being flawlessly uppercutted - is the first and last predalien in the movie. The ship crashing to earth is what you can call a "predbomber". Its like the ship on LV426. Its cargohold is filled with capsules of facehuggers.

Broken Capsules of face huggers + ship full of predators = tehehehe

Ahhhh first post for a long time all but I had to share this pics from sunday:
Ian Whyte me and stuart. I'm on the Right.

I must say Ian is a very nice guy and we had a good twenty minute chat about his work and the AVP films, He assured me that all us Pred Fans will be very content with the Strauss brothers efforts and they themselves are avid Predator fans and are determined to do The Hunter justice.

Well there is 1 MAIN predator just like AVP had 3. There may be more for a brief time, but there's only 1 main guy. Not sure if Wolf escapes from a pod on the vessel or if he's sent in (I was told he was sent) but he's on his own for the cleanup.

I think it makes sense... I think the P1 pred could whoop the **** out of a dozen aliens easily, Predalien or not. Pointing a plasma castor isn't exactly rocket science

You're also assuming the impaling scene is fatal... tsk tsk

Hope you're right, and until then I'll try not to jump to conclusions. If Ian Whyte says the Strausse bros. are pred fans and want to do it right, it sounds good to me.

Predatrhunter i think you might be right on the part that it might not be "wolf" getting impaled by the Hybrid, I mean if you look at "wolf's" body there is so many things on there ranging from multiple straps, and the rope full of bones but in the trailer and the picture where the pred gets impaled you see none of that but a single strap? food for thought...

I'll see if anybody can notice anything that has never been done before. Oh and Dan awhile back when you made a post on another thread you said something about the pred looking bad ass and seeing things that havent been done before well i spotted one of those things.

See there Dan, somehow you always manage to give me hope when I need it most. If you guys remember in the original AVP comic Broken Tusk easily handled about a dozen drones and a Queen (with some help from the girl), granted he was a experienced hunter and trainer, so maybe Wolf? is too.
