Great news, and thanks to HCG. I do agree with Eltee; hope this does not have too adverse effect on the company.

Will the replacement program require action on our part (do we need to send some form of written claim). Or will it be more or less "automatic", and based on HCG's records?

It will be automatic. I will also post on here when we have the replacements.

For the record (and FWIW), my profession is in the field of customer service. It is a documented fact that a postiitvely resolved concern builds stronger loyalty than no concern at all. Kudos to HCG.

Okay guys, thank you for your patience.

This is the deal. Hang on to the one you have at for the moment. The factory is going to make another run with the electronics the way they should be.
When we receive these we will ship everyone a new blaster out. You will keep the same display stand and box. For your patience, you can also keep the faulty one you have already - 2 for the price of 1!

Hang on guys they are coming! They take time to manufacture, we are being told April 10th completion by the factory. Then shipping is around 3 weeks to the US (or UK), so realistically end of April/ early May is when you should be expecting them.

I will post on here when they are going out so you will know if you don't receive one.

I got stung with a hefty enough customs charge the last time (Im in the UK and ordered direct from HCG). Can a replacement be arranged through Propstore of London to save me getting stung again?? :confused

My KD blaster has cleared Aussie customs this morning (what a relief! I was getting nervous about it), anyone else from Australia ordered a blaster? Hopefully I should receive it tomorrow or the next.

Mine arrived today (fantastic quality, the best prop I've ever owned). The electronics work OK, as far as I know, but there has been some flickering of the counter (seriously, when it did my heart skipped a beat :lol). If my blaster does go haywire on me, even though I purchased mine off of HCG's eBay BIN, do I still have the security of a replacement being sent out to me? My blaster number is #0146.
