Oh my, so will those who ordered mid-night blue be able to swap for black panels?
If you want black panels, you still need to request them. The midnight blue will still be, in my opinion, more accurate. They can call the panels black all they want, but the original jacket does not have stark black shoulder panels. Whether you achieve this by going with an off-black (like we're offering with the midnight blue, still my personal preference) or by adding some weathering (fullers earth, etc) is up to you.

I also wanted to jump on the bandwagon and say how amazing Indy's work has been on this jacket! I couldn't be happier with mine and the fit is perfect. If anyone is still contemplating whether or not to get one, I'd say do it.

I got mine a couple weeks ago and was NOT disappointed. I will say that the ventilation flaps made he jacket unflattering (probably just on me), so I sewed them shut with brown thread and it’s perfect. I would say the only thing I have left to do is weathering, which shouldn’t be much.
