Han in Carbonite Fridge

I first saw the fridge in the Facebook Live Stream of the So Cal prop party. Brilliant idea and perfect execution. Jolly Good Show !!

If I'm ever able to make a regular HIC I love the lighting idea. I'd love to see this incorporated in more HIC builds.

Getting a good diffusion is all about distance. because the clear parts are so shallow, its hard to do....but i have ideas, if i were ever to do one again. If someone was going to make a traditional HIC, it would be easy to get that distance for diffusion. But on a fridge, there isnt a ton of options.
I hoped that by imbedding the LED's in the clear Epoxy, it would help a bit.

There's a smile on my face that just won't go away.

Frank, if you were to make another one, do you think something could be done so that the LED lights would diffuse more?

Maybe embedding the LEDs on a second type of resin on top (behind) of the red one. Non-clear white would be my guess... But I never tried anything like that before.

Brother that is cooler then finding the last can of potted unicorn meat! Would you be willing to do the silicon molds and sell them? I could probably manage the rest but I am new to mold making and working with the silicon casts. Well done.

i don't really sell things. I just dont have time to make extra and fill orders. I'm pretty sure if you poke around other HIC posts, there are people selling castings.
