Limited Run Han ESB Hoth Blaster Flash Supressor RUN CLOSED PRODUCTION BEGUN

Parts arrived from the shop. They look great so far. I need to go through every one and inspect them. Then I need to get a couple shipping quotes. Once that is done, I'll send out PMs to everyone on the list with payment info. Expect this by the middle of next week.

Hey guys. Sorry about getting behind on this. I'm a professor and it's the end of term, so I've been quite busy. Also, I have a conference presentation coming up this week which has be driving to and back to MI, so I have zero time right now.

But, I went through the parts this afternoon to package them up.

Unfortunately, I have some bad news. The shop was really sloppy in transporting the parts from the lathe to the bead blaster, and as a result, a lot of the parts received little nicks and gauges on the surface. Since these parts have a satin finish, it's not possible to just sand out the scratches without redoing the bead blasting. So, I'm in a bit of a pickle and I'm going to have to fight it out with the shop. As is, I only have 13 parts without an nicks or scratches. I'll keep you posted as the battle continues :(

I certainly don't mind scratches, it depends how big the gouges are, can you give us an idea of how serious these imperfections are?

I forgot you're a professor - no worries man.

and thanks for duking it out with the shop, I sincerely appreciate it. I remember that happening with the V2s and its disappointing, but the fact you're willing to stick up for us means a lot.

Good luck with things

not to...be that guy....does anyone want one without beadblasting? if these can just be sanded down, that might make things easier?

YEP...actually I´d prefer a NON- bead blasted muzzle, if that´s an option!?

thanks for your efforts Dan!

FYI Here's how it looks on a MGC

That looks PERFECT!

Just need to draw the lines on the bead blasted part and weather.
Make a mistake and it's no big deal as you can just wipe off the lines, not worrying about the underlying base color.
That was a great idea.
