Limited Run Han ESB Hoth Blaster Flash Supressor RUN CLOSED PRODUCTION BEGUN

Why laser engraved lines...you´re talking about the knurling, right?

We finally had enough information to determine the Hoth fh having NO knurling at all, hence Dan´s fh is not featuring this detail (plus all the other design changes).
Why adding it later on...just personal preference?

To me it would be a more permanent way of keeping those crazy lines on there. Kind of like Boba Debt anodizing the scope brackets. I like to get as accurate as possible, but I worry my drawn on lines will rub off or something :D

The render in the first post looks really good compared to the original I saw. It is challenging because it wasn't a precisely-made looking thing.

One if the middle "transitions" wasn't even straight on the original, it was wavey but I'm not sure how that would be recreated at all (it is maybe what looks like lens distortion)

Laser engraving on low power would b a very light etch that should just create a black line

Not everyone will be comfortable drawing the lines on so this might be an easier, more consistent and permanent way to do it.

Thx for clarification David

If one of these by chance becomes available down the line, I'd love to grab one!

I'm on mobile, so I'm not sure if I'm seeing this right, are these bead blasted?! That wouldn't be accurate, and I'm hoping I'm wrong haha

They do also look great, especially the weird ridges at the cone transition, didn't want to sound like a grump. The Original has black rattle can dust on it making it look grey through a camera lens

They are media blasted. But it's a very fine material, just enough to produce the flat texture of the original. I've studied all the original pictures quite closely and this is what I've determined is the most accurate finishing process.

Looks great!

Where do we send the money?

The parts are currently in transit to me. They should arrive in a week or so. When they do, I'll send out payment info to eveyone on the list.

I've got to agree with you on regarding the bead blasting. The color of bead blasted aluminum looks close to the color we see in the photos. And it saves a step.

PayPal ready.

Awesome, my PayPal is ready too! I was going by that member that studied it in person in Japan recently, who reported it differently. Either way, I'm super pumped :)

You could always polish it up if you want it smoother. Love the shape on this! I hadn't planned on building a Hoth blaster but this is going to force me into it. Darn it! :darnkids

Hey Dan, I sent you a message to your profile, asking you a question about a build.
