going by the quality of work you are doing you are a engineer of some sort, that is one very nice piece of engineering and are looking forward to the completion of it.
did you laser cut the parts out or cut by hand. it is very tidy.

Those are some very nice comment, thank you. I'm not an engineer I'm just a welder fabricator with ideas. I have built mud buggies and rock crawlers. Building this is ALL trial and error. The cutter is plasma, not as nice as laser. Draus or slag has been my enemy on this build. THANKS AGAIN!!

Looks fantastic! Be sure to add as much safety gear as you can to this piglet. If the old jump videos are any indication, you can't have too much rollbar.

I haven't gotten much done. Just some grinding and setting ride height. Pictures pretty soon
I think with 25" four wheeler tires will help. Thanks for the complements

made some side four link brackets for the rear
cut off the spring perches and added the side link mounts
made a bracket to go around the motor and diff. to attach the center two mounts without interfering withe anything
rear axle ready to go.
the body is only 16ga aluminum so i had to make some plates out of 1/4" aluminum to attach my mounts to the body.
made some 1/4" aluminum body mounts and welded everything together.
she sits pretty well with no shocks. It has great flex in the rear.
Just a little something i wanted to add to the under carrige. If you get run over by this beast then you will remember what hit you.

this is what is left of the original electric motor. I tore it all apart just for this
Now that I got the original shaft out I need to attach it to the new electric motor.

the last post from left to right 1: i had to remove all of the top parts and pulleys to see what adapters i need. 2: adapter parts 3: shaft was too long so i trimmed it up. 4: adapter placed and top reinstalled. 5: i need an adapter to fit the motor to the diff. on the axle. Small to me is 1/35th scale for model Military Vehicles I like to assemble. For R/C Vehicles I would say 1/10 or smaller. However the term small scale is different for different people. My main limiting factor is where do I store it if I build something big! I have a 1/6th scale model tank sitting in my hobby room which I think is pushing the limits of small scale for me.
