Just in case anyone is curious...
Good afternoon,
I wanted to everyone know that I am currently, uninvolving myself in the Halo Gun project. Not that it does not interest me, nor do I think it is a bad project, but I simply continue to work this way. This is not to say the project is off. Just my portion.
It is bad enough that I don't have much free time to begin with, but to set time aside to work on these, and not have any substantial contact with the originator is intolerable. If I came into work, and suddenly stopped answering the phone, or responding to emails, I wouldn't have a job at all.
I think it is best that everyone know I provided what I could to the process, but in the end, everything always felt rushed. Mostly because of lack of direction and direct communication. Materials were under ordered, I never recieved confirmation that more would be ordered, or had been.
The quantaties that were finished, did get passed on to Tyler this morning via UPS, and what he chooses to do with them, I cannot say. But I do know that I can no longer accept responsibility for his acions/inactions.
I would suggest requesting originals or a refund. I have decided not to charge him for any of the materials I've contributed, I can make due. I am not totally satisified with the finished product, not that they are horrible, but they were hurried. They have fualts, and I would not sell them myself without the understanding that they need some cosmetic cleanup.
I will charge him for the time spent on creating the molds, but I WILL NOT PRODUCE ANY MORE GUNS. These molds will be kept under lock and key until such a time as I recieve a small payment, then they will be destroyed, unless of cousre he wants them for himself.
If you have any questions, let me know. I wish I had a more positive message for you, but I don't. I am very sorry for the outcome of the project thus far, and be assured, this is not the way I conduct my own business transactions. I would first create the product, get it to a point I was happy with, produce them, then post them for sale.
My apologies,
Geoff
