Halo Assault Rifle Build

I started this assault rifle last night. After printing out some blue prints to the right size I transferred it to mdf board and cut it out with a jigsaw. More progress shots will be up when I get some more materials

This will just give me the structure to build off of and to build up for depth and dimension

Looks good so far. Are you planning on doing the rest of the layers with MDF?

Thanks. Ill prob be using a mixture of mdf and either Styrofoam or EVA foam. Havent decided yet. Then I will be figuring out a material for the barrel and drill some holes in this for led's
