Halcyon 1/72 UD-4L Dropship

Just finished this (frankly quite awful) kit of the Dropship from Aliens . I actually got it free a couple years ago when I bought a halcyon 1/35 Aliens APC - but it came almost fully assembled and missing a couple pieces. After dismantling I figured I could jazz it up a bit - cockpit is some bits from an AH-64 Apache, seats from an SR-71 and a little basic scratch building. Decided to add a cargo bay - just to give the illusion of something empty above the open ramp - not real accurate but better than the solid floor that the kit supplies . Painted most of the markings (decals were a little old )

I’m pretty happy with how it turned out - another one to add to my collection
Just a pity it’s such an awful kit of such an awesome subject
